Lynsey provides people management and development consultancy services and training with a focus on the primary sector. She partners with clients across New Zealand. Beginning her career as an employment lawyer in the UK, Lynsey moved into in-house consulting roles with New Zealand businesses before establishing Primary People in 2020.  

Lynsey is a New Zealand Institute of Primary Industry Management certified People Management Consultant and has hands on, practical experience of managing people in her own teams.  She is an equity partner in a 420 cow dairy farm on the Catlins coast in Curio Bay, Southland which she and her husband manage day-to-day.


Lynsey has a broad range of experience including business restructuring, disciplinary processes, development of HR policies, recruitment and selection, performance management, employment investigations and health and safety management. Lynsey is a proud Nuffield Scholar.
